Challenges in the Vehicle Repair Industry
The Vehicle Repair Industry continues to experience delays in acquiring parts and paint which has a knock-on effect to availability of courtesy cars within our Approved Repairer Network. All motor insurers are experiencing similar issues and NFU Mutual have been equally affected.
Although repairers continue to pre-order parts before the arrival of a vehicle on-site, customers may experience a delay before their vehicle is booked in for repair. In certain areas of the country, or for some vehicle makes and models, priority may need to be given to severely damaged and/or undriveable vehicles.
Our Approved Repairer Network will keep you updated on the progress of your repair even where resources are stretched. We are working alongside our Network to ensure that customer impact is kept to a minimum wherever possible and we thank you for any patience which you have been asked to show.
