NFU Mutual Tiverton and South Molton agency merge

Following the recent merger of NFU Mutual Tiverton and NFU Mutual South Molton, we’re thrilled to announce that the agency is continuing to grow and evolve. And as part of that journey, we’re excited to welcome a new face to the team — James Maxwell. James joins us as Group Secretary and Insurance Agent alongside the established partners Pete Randerson and Emily Mills.

Originally from South West Wales, James moved to Devon in 2016 to be closer to family. After starting his career with us on our Future Agent scheme in 2020, he joins the NFU Mutual Tiverton and South Molton agency bringing with him his experience as a commercial insurance agent from his previous role.

As we continue to grow, the South Molton office will remain a key part of our operations and will continue to play a central role in serving our valued members and clients. The office, along with the dedicated staff, will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity and maintaining the high standard of personal service that NFU Mutual is known for. Retaining the local knowledge and expertise of the South Molton team reinforces our commitment to the community, while providing clients with the confidence that their needs will be met by the same familiar faces.

As part of our transition, we’re also happy to share that Stuart Holton, former South Molton Agent, will be staying with us in a consultative role for the next six months. Stuart has been with NFU Mutual for an incredible 37 years, and while he’s preparing for retirement next year, he’s taking this time to personally thank members and clients for their loyalty and support.

We’re so grateful for all of Stuart’s contributions over the years, and we know our clients will appreciate having him around as we go through this exciting phase.
