We had to call on the new breakdown cover yesterday as the clutch went on one of our vans whilst on site. I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the efficiency of the service. The RAC man arrived within 45 minutes, deemed it un-repairable, then the recovery vehicle was there within an hour or so to recover the van back to our garage! We were kept updated the whole time too.

I’ve had quite a few experiences with breakdown before and it has never been that quick or easy. Please pass on my thanks to the relevant team.

My husband and I have several policies with NFU Mutual. At 70 years old, I found myself having to make two insurance claims this year - the first time I have ever had to make an insurance claim in my life. The incidents that led to this caused me a great amount of distress and worry but I would very much like it to be noted that in both cases, NFU Mutual staff showed considerable care, understanding and professionalism in dealing with them.

The staff at NFU Mutual Canterbury agency were very helpful in putting me in touch with the right personnel in an NFU Mutual regional office that assessed my claims.

NFU Mutual has been great for the past few years for my van insurance. This was the first year of having my own policy and William made the process so easy. Over several calls for a couple of weeks, William remembered who I was and helped me every step of the way.

Abigail was like the physical presence of Chamomile tea, in that she was very calming, and caring, and showed great empathy and sympathy whilst we spoke of what had happened.

Hearing an assured calm professional voice after an upsetting situation is pure gold dust.

Abigail very patiently advised us of our course of action, and what we needed to provide, and was a calming influence throughout.
