Who to contact about making a change to your policy depends on who the policy is administered by.

You or the person covered needs to tell us who the policy is administrated by if there’s a change to your's or their:

Name
Contact details (postal address, telephone number, email address), or;
Bank account

Policies administered by Aviva (formerly AIG)

You can find details of the types of life event and cover changes you can make to your policy in the ‘Cover Details’ document for your respective policy.

Claim a benefit

How to claim a benefit from a policy depends on who the policy is administered by.

It may be useful to have the following to hand when contacting:

Full name
Plan/policy number
Date of death or diagnosis
Medical condition you wish to be considered (for Critical Illness claims).

Policies administered by Aviva

If you bought a Life Cover or Protection policy after 1st August 2016 this will have been administered by Aviva (formerly AIG).

The person claiming should contact Aviva as soon as possible either by email, post and phone.

Policies administered by NFU Mutual

If you bought a Life Cover or Protection policy before April 2016 this will have been administered by NFU Mutual.

The person claiming should contact NFU Mutual as soon as possible either by email, post or phone.

For critical illness claims, email: Life_CIC_Mailbox@nfumutual.co.uk

To notify us of the passing of a policyholder, email: Life_Claims_Mailbox@nfumutual.co.uk
